About Thoro Bar Supplies and Services

 

Our Company was founded in 1947 and we have been proudly serving the Southern California bar and restaurant community for over 60 years.

 

We began our business with the rental service of the Thoro Sterimatic faucet which originally provided an economical and positive way to ensure effective sanitation of glassware and utensils by eliminating the uncertainties of manual proportioning which simplified inspection and public health supervision. The foolproof design assured a sanitizing solution of uniform strength providing the right P.P.M. reading that fully met public health requirements.

 

Several design changes later we have developed an innovative faucet that in addition to dispensing sanitizer also now dispenses your soap and works as a faucet as well. The Thoro Sterimatic faucet works perfectly for the standard three sink bar set up.

 

Thoro has undergone many changes over the years to continuously offer the best services and products for our customers. In addition to the Thoro Sterimatic faucet, we now offer Thoro Electric Glass Washer rentals, Thoro Liquid Sanitizer and Thoro Liquid Detergent which together create the perfect glass washing system for bars and restaurants.

 

We are also updating and adding to our bar supplies and chemical offerings to continue to meet our customer's requests. We feature our products through our on line store as well as in our new show room located in Van Nuys, CA.
